Massive Success As South West Youth Training, Skills Acquisition Ends
No fewer than 120 youths have been empowered as the 2024 edition of South West Training and Skills Acquisition Programme has successfully come to an end.
The programme was organised by Aso Multi Media in partnership with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
All the South West State of Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Ogun and Lagos were covered in the programme.
In Oyo/Osun training centre located in Ibadan, training kicked off August 26 and participants were trained in the areas of technology, agriculture, fashion, waste management and adire making.
In Ondo/Ekiti training centre sited in Ado-Ekiti, training started on Monday, September 2 and participants were trained on technology, agriculture, fashion, cake making/confessionary, bag and shoe making.
Lagos/Ogun training centre opened on Friday 6th September and was well attended.
Guest Speakers include Mrs Oluwatoyin Aralepo, Member Forbes Finance Council and others Facilitators.
FIRS was presented by Mr Jaiye Awokoya- Special Adviser to the Chairman on Southwest and Queen Benedicta Akpana
The Project Coordinator and Executive Director Aso Multi Media, Amb Kingsley Tolu Agboola expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the training which he said is geared towards fighting poverty within the youth population in the South West region.
